Knowing your Worth
Life is so unexpected; you never know what will be thrown your way from one day to the next. For your mental state, it’s important to at least embrace and try to accept “change” for what it’s worth. Why go crazy fighting the inevitable? Even if you don’t really understand why you are in the situation you are in, you must find a way to adhere.
All things happen for a reason, so it’s a reason for that change. It’s a reason why you are no longer at that job. It’s a reason why you are no longer in that relationship, friendship, or talking to that family member. For us to grow we must be “pruned”. Most times pruning means to cut things/people out of our space who no longer serves us value.
We must know our worth. The Universe has a way of “shifting” things for us. No, it’s not always fun but it’s necessary for growth. This space is by far the most uncomfortable. Its unfamiliar, how am I expected to no longer deal with something or someone I’m so used to? Listen, whatever doesn’t “gel” with your version of peace- delete it. As women we are mostly taught to “know our worth” when it comes to men…
Sis, we need to know our worth in ALL areas of our lives.
We must set boundaries and make it clear how we expect to be treated at home, in our business settings, and in our personal relationships. The only change you shouldn’t fight is good change and change that will benefit and make YOU happy in the long run.
No one’s happiness matters more than yours and knowing your worth will always ensure YOU will do what’s best for YOU!
